Sadali is a small village which belongs to the Barbagia of Seulo, whose area is about 4988 hectares, mainly rocky. The territory borders with the area of Seulo, Seui, Esterzili, Nurri and Villanovatulo. Since 2004 Sadali was included in Cagliari's province. Situated at about 750 meters of high, its territory is characterized by the variety of landscapes, in which you can find both mountains and plateaus. The forests have several kinds of trees, mainly Holm-oaks, English oaks, 'sugherella' and cork-oaks. The undergrowth is reach of arbutus, la 'filliera', il lentisk, juniper, rosemary and cistus. The village is situated at the Km. 32 of S.S. n 198. It is situated in a plateau, thus differs from the typical mountain villages from its wide streets with trees at the borders. Sadali has also an historical centre, which kept the original appearance of the old times, with small and steep streets. |
